Are dogs allowed in national parks. Yes National parks welcome petsin developed areas on many trails and campgrounds and in some lodging facilities. The National Park Service preserves special places for visitors to enjoyeven with your furry family members. The park is one of the most dog-friendly parks in the US as dogs are allowed basically everywhere- on the campgrounds on all trails including the boardwalk.

Acadia National Park welcomes dogs on all 100 miles of trails with a camping option at 3 of its campsites.
